New Jersey Thunder are crowned champions - May 4, 2015

The New Jersey Thunder clinched the APBL crown. They defeated the Rockville Victors in the Final 99:98. Kevin Burwell (5'11''-PG-89, college: Miss.Valley St.) hit a go-ahead basket with 3 seconds left in regulation to propel the Thunder to the victory. The New Jersey Thunder jumped to a 48:41 halftime lead against Rockville. But the Victors denied the deficit in the third term. They erased the deficit and pulled ahead for a 76:74 lead heading into the fourth quarter. It all came down to the final seconds in this one. Kevin Burwell stepped up for the Thunder as his bucket sealed the victory for New Jersey. Kevin Burwell was awarded the Finals MVP finishing with 28 points for the champions.
