Shuckers Snapshot: The Shuckers won an important match-up on December 19th over the then first place NoVa Hawks (2-1) before falling on the road to the Winchester Storm (2-4) to close out the 2015 portion of the 2015-2016 American Professional Basketball League (APBL) campaign at 5-2. Bay Area has maintained a spot in the APBL's top four all season in the 13-team field. In their first seven games they have outscored opponents by 14 points per game. They are currently surrendering a franchise best 100.29 points per game while scoring 114.29. Three newcomers to the team, Torey Fassett (25.60 points per game), Kendall Allison (15.71 ppg), and Camontae Griffin (15.25 ppg) are leading the team in scoring, while another newcomer Kevin Clark leads the team with 8.43 rebounds per contest.

Victors Snapshot: After losing a total of only eight regular season games in their first three years in the APBL, the Victors had an uncharacteristic 1-2 start to the season. They have since rebounded with consecutive wins at home over D.C. Funk House (157-124) and the Winchester Storm (141-126). With the two blowout victories they are now scoring 122.4 points per game while allowing 115.

Outlook: Bay Area earned their first career win over the Victors in November and now face an important mid-season match-up against their old nemesis. With a win the Shuckers can move as high as a tie for first in the APBL standings, while a loss could drop them into the middle of the competitive pack.
