Atlanta Aliens ABA Pro Basketball Team General Manager and Head Coach Duck Richards has announced the Aliens roster for the 2025-2026 season. The Aliens have won the ABA South Red Division Championships for the past three consecutive years but fell short of winning the ABA Championship. According to Coach Duck, some changes had to be made. "We don't rebuild, we reload," said Richards
When it comes to recruiting and finding players, Coach Duck Richards ranks amongst the best in the business. Richards, who is entering his eighteenth year at the helm of the Aliens program, welcomed back five championship winners, including ABA All-Star veterans point guard Chris Cromartie (6'3''-G-1989, college: Gordon), Alex Bonner (6'2''-G-1995, college: LaGrange), Rashad Faust (6'8''-F/C-1987, college: Co.Georgia), Manny Akins and Gee Brown (6'4''-G). Other returning veterans are Jalen Reynolds, DeAngelo Anthony, Amori Atkinson, and Nick Flemings.
They will also welcome seven newcomers with one of them being 7 Footer Acton Shirley (7'0''-C) who played Division-1 college basketball at Gardner-Webb University and IUPUI. Former Georgia Tech players Tadric Jackson (6'2''-G-1994, college: Georgia Tech) and Evan Jester (6'7''-F-1999, college: Georgia Tech) will also be returning back to the Aliens this season after playing overseas. Likewise for JR Holder (6'6''-SG-1994, college: Jacksonville) who played college basketball at Jacksonville University where he averaged 17.3 points per game his senior year and Rayquan Brown (6'6''-F, college: MVSU) who played at Mississippi Valley State University. The roster below also includes other additional players that Coach Duck believes will help this year's team win the ABA Championship.
