After experiencing the longest losing streak ever (5 games) as a professional team in the ABA, Atlanta Aliens (3-8) found a way to get back on the winning side and defeated Perseverance Panthers from South Carolina 154-98. Surprisingly, Atlanta Aliens are on pace for their first losing season in twelve years under General Manager and Head Coach Duck Richards who won his 95th game as a ABA Professional Head Coach.

The Aliens are not making any excuses but they are making adjustments. "This is a new team in a new year and it's my job to prepare them to compete for the ABA Championship. We're getting there," said Richards.
The Aliens looked like the Aliens of old applying their full court press forcing multiple turnovers early in the game and never let up. Leading all scorers was Michael Stanley (6'2''-G, college: Emmanuel, GA) who nearly had a triple double with 45pts, 12rebs and 7ast. Alex Bonner (6'3''-G, college: LaGrange) 36pts, Wynston Andrews (6'3''-G, college: Patrick Henry) 33pts, and Kris Bell (6'9''-F, college: FVSU, agency: Whitecox Lyons SM) 15pts 15rebs. Corey Myers scored 26pts for the Panthers.
Atlanta Aliens will play their final game of the regular season on Saturday, March 6, 2021 against the Nassau Pride in Florida.
The ABA Divisional Playoffs will begin the following March 13, 2021
