The Atlanta Aliens defeated Music City Jazz out of Nashville, Tennessee 168-136 for the second time this season. In their previous meeting, Atlanta Aliens escaped with a narrow victory over the Jazz on the road 117-116 to complete the sweep.
The Aliens struck quickly knocking down 3-pointers immediately after tipoff, but the Jazz answered by making their shots too. However, the Aliens added extra defensive pressure forcing turnovers to extend an early lead and they never looked back.
Atlanta Aliens General Manager and Head Coach Duck Richards was very pleased with his team's performance. "This was our first game of the season that we took an early lead and did not look back", said Richards. Amazingly, the Aliens had five players to score more than 25pts each. Leading the way was Wynston Andrews (6'3''-G, college: Patrick Henry) 45pts, Antwon Brantley 35pts, Sherrard Brantley (6'2''-G-90, college: Georgia) 32pts, Alex Bonner (6'3''-G, college: LaGrange)r 30pts, and Evan Jester (6'7''-F-99, college: Georgia Tech) 26pts.
Atlanta Aliens will hit the road for their next game to play the ABA Defending Champions Jacksonville Giants in Jacksonville, Florida
