In the 1st Annual Willie Ison ABA Pro Basketball Holiday Classic, Atlanta Aliens defeated Perseverance Panthers 166-124 and improved their record of being 5-3 overall. The game honored Willie Ison, who played in the ABA with the Kentucky Colonels in the early 70's and was in attendance for the game.

The Aliens did not waste any time to unload their talented squad on the Panthers with swarming defensive pressure which led to early baskets quickly. As a result, eight different Aliens were in double figures. Leading the way was team captain Michael Stanley (6'2''-G, college: Emmanuel, GA) with 35pts. Dwayne Day (6'7''-G/F-85, college: S.Carolina) 23pts, Rod Rucker (6'5''-F-91, college: UAB) 23pts, Sherrard Brantley (6'2''-G-90, college: Georgia), Thomas Brown (6'8''-F-86, college: Lamar) and Aundre Reid (5'11''-G, college: Tenn Wesleyan) all had 15pts, Donald Thomas (5'10''-G) (Morehouse College) 14pts, and Evan Jester (6'7''-F-99, college: Georgia Tech) 10pts.
The Aliens next game will be against ABA #12 Power Ranked Mobile Jester
