Andre McCowan (6'4''-G, college: Lewis-Clark St.) led a balanced scoring attack in a Portland Storm win over Lakewood Panthers 110-97 to improve to 2-1 on the season in The Lakewood Community Center in Lakewood Washington. The Storm had 7 players in double figures in points. McCowan finished with a game high 22 points some of those with some crowd pleasing electrifying dunks he also added 6 assists. The Storm's leading scorer so far this season Jordan Berni (6'0''-PG-95, college: Clark JC) finished with 15 points including 4 three pointers. The Storm's new comers also played good in their season debuts. Center Vincent Boumaan finished with 15 points and 13 rebounds. point forward Xavier Dupree (6'9''-F-94, college: Houston) finished with 15 points 8 rebounds and dished out 6 assists while adding 3 blocks and Brandon Hollins (6'6''-F, college: Portland St.) added 12 for The Storm as well. Lakewood was paced by guard Alton West who finished with a team high 21 points. Troy Gwynn (6'5''-G/F-80, college: Evergreen St.) added 16 points and pulled down 12 rebounds and Devon Trapps (5'11''-PG) added 15 points for The Panthers
