Regular Season Round 5: City Reapers - Jelly Fam 65-62

City Reapers' fans can celebrate the first win of their team after four consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Jelly Fam (1-4) 65-62. They outrebounded Jelly Fam 53-38 including a 38-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. City Reapers brought some defensive toughness making 53 blocks. Jeremy Jenkins stepped up with a triple-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 12 blocks for the winners and Blaze Johnson chipped in 12 points, 10 rebounds and 10 blocks. Four City Reapers players scored in double figures. TJ Wal responded with 23 points and Yandel German scored 10 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 7 blocks. City Reapers left bottom position moving up to eighth place, which they share with defeated Jelly Fam. City Reapers will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Jelly Fam will play against FoGA (#3) to get more than just one victory in their record.
