There was a minor upset when 4th placedBlue Checks (9-8) were outplayed at home by sixth ranked Diamond Doves (7-12) 95-67 on Sunday. Diamond Doves looked well-organized offensively handing out 95 assists comparing to just 67 passes made by Blue Checks ' players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Diamond Doves made 9 blocks. Isaiah Henry fired a triple-double by scoring 24 points, 31 assists and 10 steals for the winners. DeShawn Gory (203) chipped in a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 16 assists and 7 steals. Guard Kaden Magwood (190) produced a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 5 rebounds, 24 assists and 8 steals and Josiah Parker added 36 points (!!!), 22 assists and 13 steals respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Diamond Doves have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain sixth place with 7-12 record. Blue Checks lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with eight games lost.
