Their biggest opponent host Blue Checks (7-4) lost to third ranked City Reapers (8-4) 94-86. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Blue Checks. It was a key game for the second position in the league. It was a great evening for Meleek Thomas who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Micah Tucker helped adding 18 points. At the losing side Josiah Parker responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists and Yohance Connor produced a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds. Defending champion moved-up to second place. Blue Checks at the other side dropped to the third position with four games lost. City Reapers are looking forward to face FoGA (#5) in the next round. Blue Checks will play against Diamond Doves and are hoping to win this game.
