There was a small surprise when fourth ranked RWE (5-4) beat on the road second-best Blue Checks (7-3) 110-92 on Saturday. RWE dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Blue Checks' 46 and made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game. Swingman Jasper Johnson (193-2006) notched a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and Taylen Kinney supported him with 27 points. Even a double-double of 16 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists by Josiah Parker did not help to save the game for Blue Checks. Caleb Thomas added 25 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. RWE have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 5-4 record. Loser Blue Checks keep the second place with three games lost.
