Another interesting game forOttawa (3-3) which played on the court of Montreal (2-4). Fourth ranked Ottawa had an easy win 90-79 . Blackjacks players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. American guard Matthew Cleveland (201-1998, college: Miami, FL) stepped up and scored 23 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import guard Justin Harmon (193-2001, college: Illinois) chipped in 22 points and 7 assists. Four Blackjacks players scored in double figures. American guard Javon Freeman-Liberty (191-1999, college: DePaul) responded with 25 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and Ivorian-Canadian forward Quincy Guerrier (203-1999, college: Illinois) scored 17 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ottawa moved-up to second place, which they share with Winnipeg. Montreal lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with Saskatchewan.
