Important game to mention about took place in Toronto.Shooting Stars saved a 2-point victory at home edging Sea Bears 103-101 in the game for the first place. American guard Myles Powell (188-1997, college: Seton Hall) orchestrated the victory by scoring 41 points (!!!) and 6 assists. Forward Frank Mitchell (203, college: St.Bonaventure) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American guard Teddy Allen (198-1998, college: NM State) replied with 33 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import point guard Armani Chaney (178-1997, college: Tennessee St.) added 14 points and 6 assists in the effort for Winnipeg. Four Scarborough and five Winnipeg players scored in double figures. Sea Bears' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
