Top rankedRiver Lions (14-7) recorded its seventh loss in Toronto on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by third ranked Shooting Stars (11-11) 81-64 . It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Scarborough had a 38-26 advantage in offensive rebounds. The game was dominated by American players. Forward Michael Foster Jr (207-2003) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Guard Terquavion Smith (193-2002, college: NC State) chipped in 14 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Shooting Stars players scored in double figures. Guard Ronald Curry (193-1993, college: JMU) produced 21 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Khalil Ahmad (191-1996, college: CS Fullerton, agency: Octagon Europe) added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Scarborough moved-up to second place. Niagara at the other side still keeps top position with seven games lost.
