Regular Season Round 14: Brampton - Vancouver 85-89

Date: July 11, 2025
No shocking result in a game when first ranked Bandits (13-4) beat 5th ranked Honey Badgers (4-13) in Hamilton 89-85 on Friday. Vancouver outrebounded Brampton 44-31 including a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. American guard Zach Copeland (193-1997, college: Illinois St.) notched 27 points to lead the effort and South Sudanese-Canadian forward Kur Jockuch (206-1999, college: Temple) supported him with 13 points and 17 rebounds. Four Bandits players scored in double figures. Even 30 points by American guard Quinndary Weatherspoon (190-1996, college: MSU) did not help to save the game for Brampton. Forward David Muenkat (201-2000, college: St.Francis X., agency: Players Group) added 17 points and 6 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Vancouver maintains first position with 13-4 record. Brampton lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 13 games lost. Vancouver will meet at home Saskatchewan (#5) in the next round. Brampton will play against the league's leader Niagara and hope to secure a win.
