Regular Season Round 13: Vancouver - Brampton 87-84

Fifth-rankedHoney Badgers (4-14) gave a tough game to first ranked Bandits (13-4) in Langley on Sunday. Bandits managed to secure only three-point victory 87-84 . However their fans expected much easier game. Vancouver looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Australian swingman Mitch Creek (196-1992) stepped up and scored 30 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and American point guard Corey Davis (186-1997, college: Houston) chipped in 15 points and 11 assists. At the losing side American guard Quinndary Weatherspoon (190-1996, college: MSU) responded with 27 points and 4 assists and the other American import center Amari Kelly (206-1999, college: GMU) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Four Brampton players scored in double figures. Honey Badgers' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Vancouver maintains first place with 13-4 record. Brampton lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 14 games lost.
