Regular Season Round 11: Vancouver - Saskatchewan 97-85

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Bandits as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Bandits defeated 5th ranked Rattlers in Langley 97-85. Vancouver made 22-of-27 charity shots (81.5 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a great evening for forward Tyrese Samuel (208-2000, college: Florida) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds. Australian swingman Mitch Creek (196-1992) helped adding 23 points and 5 assists. American guard Nate Pierre-Louis (193-1998, college: Temple) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists and the other American import guard Jordan Bowden (197-1997, college: Tennessee) scored 19 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Saskatchewan lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the fifth place with ten games lost. Saskatchewan will play next round against strong Montreal trying to get back on the winning streak. Vancouver will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked Scarborough at Toronto.
