Regular Season Round 4: Vancouver - Calgary 80-95

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeatedBandits (4-1) in Langley. Hosts were defeated by Surge (5-1) 95-80 . It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Bandits. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Calgary made 21-of-26 charity shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Greg Brown III (201-2001, college: Texas) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds. Center Sean Miller-Moore (193-1998, college: GCU) contributed with 22 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Australian swingman Mitch Creek (196-1992) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) and forward Tyrese Samuel (208-2000, college: Florida) added 11 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Vancouver. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Surge have a solid four-game winning streak. Calgary keeps a position of league leader. Vancouver at the other side dropped to the second place with one game lost. Calgary will play against Saskatchewan (#5) in Saskatoon in the next round. Vancouver will play at home against Ottawa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
