Regular Season Round 4: Niagara - Saskatchewan 87-89

There was a minor upset in Niagara where much higher rankedRiver Lions (3-2) were edged by fifth ranked Rattlers (1-4) 89-87 on Friday. Worth to mention a great performance of Australian forward Grant Anticevich (205-1999, college: California) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Jamir Chaplin (193-2000, college: UALR) who added 22 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Rattlers players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Khalil Ahmad (191-1996, college: CS Fullerton, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 36 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Nathan Cayo (201-1997, college: Richmond) scored 14 points and 4 blocks. Rattlers left bottom position moving up to fourth place, which they share with Edmonton. Loser River Lions keeps the second position with two games lost. Saskatchewan will meet league's leader Calgary on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Niagara will play against the league's leader Scarborough and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
