Regular Season Round 4: Edmonton - Vancouver 95-104

Date: May 30, 2025
There was no surprise in Edmonton where 4th ranked Stingers (1-4) were defeated by first ranked Bandits (4-1) 104-95 on Friday. Vancouver looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Australian swingman Mitch Creek (196-1992) who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and American guard Kyle Mangas (193-1999, college: IWU) who added 27 points and 8 assists during the contest. Four Bandits players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Sean East II (190-1999, college: Missouri) responded with 27 points and his fellow American import forward Nick Hornsby (201-1995, college: Sacramento St.) scored 17 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bandits have a solid four-game winning streak. Despite that victory Vancouver went down to second position due to points difference. Loser Stingers keeps the fourth place with four games lost. They share the position with Saskatchewan. Vancouver will meet at home Ottawa (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Edmonton will play against Montreal and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
