Regular Season Round 4: Calgary - Brampton 90-85

Date: May 29, 2025
No shocking result in a game in Calgary where second ranked Surge (5-1) defeated bottom-ranked Honey Badgers (0-4) 90-85 on Thursday. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Jameer Nelson Jr (185-2000, college: TCU) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 5 assists and center Sean Miller-Moore (193-1998, college: GCU) who added 19 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. At the losing side American guard Quinndary Weatherspoon (190-1996, college: MSU) responded with 18 points and 8 assists and forward David Muenkat (201-2000, college: St.Francis X., agency: Players Group) scored 9 points and 16 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Surge have a solid four-game winning streak. Calgary keeps a position of league leader. Loser Honey Badgers still closes the standings with four games lost. Calgary will meet at home Saskatchewan (#5) in the next round. Brampton will play against Winnipeg and hopes to get finally their first victory.
