It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Ottawa dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Bandits's 44. Ottawa outrebounded Vancouver 44-25 including a 34-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Ottawa looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. Guard Justin Harmon (193-2001, college: Illinois) scored 36 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Matthew Cleveland (201-1998, college: Miami, FL) chipped in 35 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was point guard Jaelen House (183-2001, college: N.Mexico) with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 5 rebounds, 12 assists and 5 steals. Ottawa moved-up to second place, which they share with Winnipeg. Vancouver at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. Even 20 points and 7 rebounds by guard Emmanuel Bandoumel (193-1998, college: Nebraska) did not help to save the game for Edmonton. Stingers' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Brampton maintains first position with 7-1 record. Edmonton at the other side keeps the third place with four games lost. Brampton will play against Montreal (#5) on the road in the next round. Edmonton will play against Montreal and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
