Third-rankedStingers (2-4) gave a tough game to first ranked Honey Badgers (7-1) in Hamilton. Honey Badgers managed to secure only one-point victory 87-86 . However their fans expected easier game. Brampton made 24-of-31 charity shots (77.4 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Edmonton was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Cameron Tyson (190-1999, college: Seattle) notched 27 points to lead the effort and the other American import guard Sean East II (190-1999, college: Missouri) supported him with 22 points and 7 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Even 20 points and 7 rebounds by guard Emmanuel Bandoumel (193-1998, college: Nebraska) did not help to save the game for Edmonton . American guard Taye Donald (188-2002, college: Seward County, agency: Players Group) added 11 points and 8 assists. Four Edmonton players scored in double figures. Stingers' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Brampton maintains first position with 7-1 record. Edmonton at the other side keeps the third place with four games lost.
