There was a minor upset in Calgary where 3rd rankedRattlers (4-2) were defeated by fifth ranked Surge (2-4) 102-85 on Wednesday. Calgary looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Sean Miller-Moore (193-1998, college: GCU) who helped to win the game recording 27 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Justin Lewis (201-2002, college: Marquette) who added 16 points and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side American Jalen Harris (196-1998, college: Nevada) responded with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import guard Elijah Harkless (193-2000, college: UNLV, agency: Slash Sports) scored 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Rattlers' coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Calgary maintains fifth position with 2-4 record. Loser Rattlers dropped to the second place with two games lost. They share the position with Edmonton. Calgary will meet at home higher ranked Winnipeg (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Saskatchewan will play against Brampton in Hamilton and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
