Regular Season Round 4: Montreal - Brampton 95-77

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Montreal where fourth rankedAlliance (1-4) defeated 3rd ranked Honey Badgers (2-5) 95-77 on Sunday. Montreal forced 23 Brampton turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American Chris Smith (206-1999, college: UCLA) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import Ahmed Hill (196-1995, college: Virginia Tech) who added 19 points and 6 assists during the contest. Four Alliance players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Zane Waterman (203-1995, college: Manhattan) responded with 28 points and 8 rebounds and Shamiel Stevenson (198-1998, college: Nebraska) scored 24 points and 5 rebounds. Despite that victory Alliance went down to fifth position due to points difference. It was Brampton 's fifth loss in a row. They keep the third place with five games lost. Montreal will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Brampton will play against the league's leader Scarborough and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
