Regular Season Round 4: Edmonton - Saskatchewan 93-77

Date: June 2, 2024
The game between closely ranked teams ended with one of their biggest challengers Rattlers' (4-2) road loss to second ranked Stingers (4-2) 77-93 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Nick Hornsby (201-1995, college: Sacramento St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists and Brody Clarke (203-1996, college: Alberta) who added 18 points during the contest. Five Stingers players scored in double figures. Stingers' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American guard Elijah Harkless (193-2000, college: UNLV, agency: Slash Sports) responded with 25 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import Jalen Harris (196-1998, college: Nevada) scored 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Edmonton maintains second position with 4-2 record behind leader Scarborough, which they share with Saskatchewan. Edmonton will meet at home league's second-placed Niagara in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Saskatchewan will play against Brampton in Hamilton and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
