Rather expected game in Toronto where 7th ranked Honey Badgers (8-12) were defeated by fifth ranked Shooting Stars (11-9) 97-90 on Monday. Shooting Stars forced 23 Honey Badgers turnovers and had a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was power forward Elijah Lufile (201-1997, college: ORU) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Trinidad and Tobago swingman Zeke Moore (201-1997, college: SIUE, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 17 points. Four Shooting Stars players scored in double figures. American forward Zane Waterman (203-1995, college: Manhattan) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import guard MJ Walker (196-1998, college: FSU) added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Shooting Stars maintains fifth position with 11-9 record. Defending champion Honey Badgers keep the seventh place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Vancouver and Saskatchewan.
