Very expected game in Langley where 10th ranked Bandits (6-12) were defeated by second ranked Sea Bears (12-7) 90-79 on Sunday. Sea Bears made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Sea Bears made 7 blocks. American guard Teddy Allen (198-1998, college: NM State) had a double-double by scoring 32 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals to lead the charge for the winners and British-Canadian guard Glen Yang (193-1996, college: Mount Royal) chipped in 15 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four Sea Bears players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Nick Ward (203-1997, college: Michigan St.) with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds and guard Duane Notice (188-1994, college: S.Carolina, agency: Inception Sports) scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Sea Bears used an opportunity after Ottawa lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position.
