Regular Season Round 16: Vancouver - Montreal 74-79

Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Bandits (5-10) lost to eighth ranked Alliance (7-9) in Langley 74-79 on Sunday. The winners were led by Haitian-Canadian guard Alain Louis (185-1998, college: Carleton) who scored that evening 21 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and American guard Treveon Graham (198-1993, college: VCU) supported him with 24 points and 5 rebounds. Even 11 points and 6 rebounds by guard Malcolm Duvivier (190-1995, college: Akron) did not help to save the game for Bandits. Austrian-Georgian forward Giorgi Bezhanishvili (206-1998, college: Illinois) added 8 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Alliance moved-up to seventh place. Bandits lost fourth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with ten games lost. Alliance will meet at home higher ranked Shooting Stars (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Bandits will play against Rattlers (#9) in Saskatoon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
