Regular Season Round 10: Winnipeg - Saskatchewan 86-78

CEBL top team - Sea Bears (7-3) added another victory to their record on Friday. This time they beat tenth ranked Rattlers (3-6) in Winnipeg 86-78. They outrebounded Rattlers 47-35 including 17 on the offensive glass. American guard Teddy Allen (198-1998, college: NM State) notched a double-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and Nigerian-American swingman EJ Anosike (201-1998, college: CS Fullerton) supported him with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Four Sea Bears players scored in double figures. Even 24 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists by American point guard Justin Wright-Foreman (183-1997, college: Hofstra) did not help to save the game for Rattlers. His fellow American import forward Malik Benlevi (198-1997, college: Georgia St., agency: Verus Management) added 6 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. Rattlers' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Sea Bears maintains first position with 7-3 record. Rattlers lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with six games lost. Sea Bears will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Rattlers will play against Shooting Stars (#6) and hope to secure a win.
