Third defeat of league's leader Sea Bears (5-3) against second ranked Surge (6-3) 97-81 was the most important game of the last round. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Guard Sean Miller-Moore (193-1998, college: GCU) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. American forward Trevon Scott (203-1996, college: Cincinnati) contributed with 22 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Five Surge players scored in double figures. American guard Teddy Allen (198-1998, college: NM State) replied with 23 points and 7 rebounds and center Chad Posthumus (210-1991, college: Morehead St.) added 15 points and 15 rebounds in the effort for Sea Bears. Sea Bears' coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Surge keeps a position of league leader. Sea Bears at the other side dropped to the second place with three games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Calgary. Sea Bears will play next round against Bandits trying to make it back to the top of the standings.
