The game in Winnipeg was also quite interesting. Bandits played at the court of Sea Bears. Sea Bears managed to secure a 5-point victory 90-85 on Saturday. Nigerian-American swingman EJ Anosike (201-1998, college: CS Fullerton) fired a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. British-Jamaican point guard Jelani Watson-Gayle (186-1998, college: FPU) chipped in 22 points. Five Sea Bears players scored in double figures. Sea Bears' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American point guard DJ Steward (185-2001, college: Duke) produced 30 points and 7 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and Austrian-Georgian forward Giorgi Bezhanishvili (206-1998, college: Illinois) added 21 points and 17 rebounds respectively for lost side. Sea Bears will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Bandits will play against Rattlers in Saskatoon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
