Regular Season Round 9: Hurricanes - Dream 108-95

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Dream (2-5) against fourth ranked Hurricanes (2-4) on Saturday night. Visiting Dream was defeated by Hurricanes in Fredonia 108-95. They outrebounded Dream 46-28 including 21 on the offensive glass. Hurricanes players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Guard Marcus Feagin (193-1991) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 22 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and guard Larry Rivers (196-1993, college: Buffalo St.) chipped in 25 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was German-American guard Juwan Willis (188-1997, college: Point Park) with 34 points (!!!) and 7 assists and forward Tony Acrie (190-1996, college: Carlow) produced a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Hurricanes moved-up to third place. Dream at the other side dropped to the fourth position with five games lost. Hurricanes will play against league's leader Panthers in Detroit in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Dream will play at home against the league's leader Thunder and hopes to get back on the winning track.
