Bloomington Flex 2013 PBL Champions - Jun 11, 2013

The Bloomington Flex claimed their second Premier Basketball League Championship title in as many years this past weekend after outplaying the Rochester RazorSharks. The Flex dominated the first two games in the best-of-three series, eliminating the need for a third game to be played. The champions claimed the 2013 title yesterday in Rochester in front of a packed house.
The first game was held in Bloomington on Friday, June 7. The Flex defeated the RazorSharks with a final score of 106-86. Valuable players for the Flex include Jemal Farmer (6'5''-G/F-89, college: Arkansas) with 24 points, and both Ryan Anderson (6'4''-G-87, college: Nebraska) and Todd Peterson (6'8''-F-84, college: N.Illinois) with 16 points. Mac Koshwal and Keith Friel (6'4''-G-77, college: Virginia) gained 15 points apiece for the RazorSharks, but it wasnt quite enough to take game one.
Game two was played in Rochester, NY on Sunday, June 9. The home court advantage was not enough leverage for Rochester, as the Flex once again conquered the RazorSharks and walked away with the league title. The final score was 88-77, with a 22 point contribution from Anderson, 15 from Nate Fuqua (6'2''-G/F-88, college: Iowa Wesleyan) and 12 from Peterson.
This is the second consecutive year that the Flex have met and defeated the RazorSharks in the league championship.
