Regular Season Round 11: Hamilton - Fraser Valley 96-93

The most exciting game of round 11 in the CEBL took place in Hamilton. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 3rd placed Fraser Valley (5-3) to second ranked Hamilton (8-3) 96-93 in the game for the second place. Hamilton made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Guard Lindell Wigginton (185-98, college: Iowa St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points. Rwandan-Canadian guard Jean-Victor Mukama (203-94, college: Ryerson) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Hamilton's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Jamaican-Canadian point guard Alex Campbell (191-93, college: Windsor) answered with 21 points and American swingman Kenny Manigault (195-91, college: Pikeville) added 16 points in the effort for Fraser Valley. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Hamilton maintains second place with 8-3 record having just two point less than leader Edmonton. Fraser Valley at the other side keeps the third position with three games lost. Hamilton are looking forward to face Guelph (#6) on the road in the next round. Fraser Valley will play against the league's leader Edmonton and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
