Regular Season Round 2: Fraser Valley - Niagara 104-81
Date: June 29, 2021
Fraser Valley smashed Niagara at home 104-81. They outrebounded Niagara 39-20 including a 26-9 advantage in defensive rebounds. Fraser Valley looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American swingman Kenny Manigault (195-91, college: Pikeville) scored 15 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Jamaican-Canadian point guard Alex Campbell (188-93, college: Windsor) chipped in 14 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Five Fraser Valley players scored in double figures. American forward Xavier Sneed (196-97, college: Kansas St.) responded with 34 points (!!!) and Jamaican-Canadian guard Daniel Walden-Mullings (189-91, college: NM State) scored 14 points. Niagara's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Niagara will play next round against strong Edmonton trying to get back on the winning streak. Fraser Valley will try to continue on its current victory against Saskatchewan in Saskatoon.
