#1. Dhal Fieg (5'11''-PG-2001, played in 2020-21, plays pro in Australia) was the major contributor in a 2-point Canberra Gunners' victory against the ninth-ranked Sutherland Sharks (2-2) 73-71 in the Australian NBL One (second division) last Saturday. He recorded 12 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals in 35 minutes. Canberra Gunners (2-3) are placed 11th in East group. It was his team's first victory after three consecutive loses. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Fieg's first year with the team. This season Fieg averages 7.3ppg, 3.5rpg, 3.3apg and 1.3spg in four games he played so far.
#2. Joshua Pain (6'2''-G-2002, played in 2020-21, plays in Australia). He could not help Northern Suburbs Bears (3-1) to beat Excellence (6-0) in the Australian NBL One (second division). Pain recorded 9 points. But the sixth-placed Northern Suburbs Bears (3-1) were crushed114-68 on the road by the leading Excellence in the East group. It was Northern Suburbs Bears' first loss after three consecutive victories. But the season just started, so everything may happen. This year Pain averages 9.5ppg and 1.3rpg.
#3. Christian Nobles (5'9''-PG-1992, played in 2014-15, currently in the TBL) led Syracuse Stallions to a 3-point victory against the Lehigh Valley Legends (4-6) 115-112 in the TBL in Friday night's game. He scored 26 points (!!!), grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 4 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) in 43 minutes. The Syracuse Stallions have a very good 7-2 record this season. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. Nobles has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 18.6ppg, 6.1rpg and 4.7apg in seven games.
#4. Devante Foster (6'9''-F-1998, played in 2017-18, plays pro in Turkey) led Gemlik to an easy victory against the ninth-ranked Mamak (10-13) 104-85 in the Turkish TBL (second division) last Friday. Foster scored 15 points; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. Budo Gemlik Basketbol (7-16) is placed 14th in the TBL. Foster's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Foster has relatively good stats this season 11.1ppg, 6.1rpg, 1.9apg and 1.1spg.
