#1. Tevin Brewer (5'8''-PG-1998, played in 2018-19, plays pro in Austria) led UBSC Raiffeisen Graz to a victory over the closely-ranked Raiffeisen Flyers Wels (7-2) crushing them 94-64 in the Austrian BSL on Friday night. He was MVP of the game. Brewer recorded 28 points (!!!) and added 4 assists in 34 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. UBSC Raiffeisen Graz (5-2) is placed fourth in the BSL. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. It's Brewer's first year with the team. Brewer has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 21.1ppg, 3.1rpg, 8.9apg and 1.7spg.
#2. Landon Glasper (6'2''-G, played in 2022-23, plays in Serbia) could not help the league outsider KK Joker Sombor (0-5) in their last game. Despite his very good performance KK Joker Sombor was badly defeated109-89 on the road by the much higher-ranked Sloga KR. Glasper was the top scorer with 25 points (was perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line). It was his first game for KK Joker Sombor this season; not bad, considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. So far KK Joker Sombor lost all five games in the Regular Season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Glasper's first year with the team.
#3. Latrell Reid (6'3''-G-2000, played in 2019-21, currently in Portugal), who plays in the Portuguese Liga Betclic was not able to help Esgueira (2-2) in their game last Saturday. Despite his very good performance Esgueira was badly defeated101-81 at home by the lower-ranked Queluz (#8). Reid was the second best scorer with 19 points. He also added 6 rebounds and 6 assists in 31 minutes. But the season just started, so everything may happen. This year Reid has very high stats. He averages 17.7ppg, 7.0rpg, 7.7apg and 1.3spg.
#4. Markeith Browning II (6'4''-G-2001, played in 2020-21, plays pro in Sweden) was not able to secure a victory for Sloga Uppsala (2-8) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the bottom-ranked Sloga Uppsala lost 71-85 on their home court in to the much higher-ranked (#3) BC Lulea. Browning II was the top scorer with 17 points. He also added 4 rebounds, passed 3 assists and added 2 blocks. It was Sloga Uppsala's fourth consecutive loss in a row. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. It's Browning II's first year with the team. Browning II has very impressive stats this season 16.5ppg, 3.6rpg, 3.1apg and 1.2spg in 10 games he played so far.
#5. Vito Bajazet (6'10''-C-2004, played in 2024-25, plays in Slovenia) couldn't help Slovan (3-1) in their game last Friday. Despite Bajazet's good performance Slovan was edged79-76 on the opponent's court by the lower-ranked Postojna (#4). He scored 10 points in 18 minutes. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. This season Bajazet averages 6.5ppg, 3.3rpg, 1.2apg and 1.3spg.
#6. LaVone Holland II (6'3''-G-1994, played in 2014-15, currently in Azerbaijan) was the main contributor in Nakhchivan's victory against the third-ranked Guba 86-78 in the Azerbaijani ABL last Saturday. Holland II was MVP of the game. He scored 27 points (!!!), grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 4 assists (was perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line). Holland II has relatively good stats this year 12.5ppg, 4.3rpg, 6.0apg and 1.5spg in six games. He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.
#7. Jalen Smith (5'9''-PG-2000, played in 2018-21, plays pro in Thailand) was the major contributor in a 2-point CNX Orion's victory against the tenth-ranked Gladiators 66-64 in the Thailand TGBL (third division) on Saturday night. Smith recorded 12 points, 5 assists and 3 steals in 30 minutes. Smith has relatively good stats this season 12.8ppg, 5.5rpg, 3.5apg and 2.0spg.
#8. Bostyn Holt (6'7''-G-1999, played in 2019-20, plays in Japan) couldn't help Yamaguch Pats Five (3-9) in their last game. Despite Holt's good performance Yamaguch Pats Five was crushed92-68 in Gifu by the higher-ranked (#8) Swoops. He was the second best scorer with 14 points. Holt also added 4 rebounds. This year Holt averages 6.5ppg and 3.4rpg in 12 games.
