#1. Arseniy Semenov (6'7''-F-2000, played in 2016-20, plays pro in Russia) led Ural Yekaterinburg to an easy victory against the league outsider Stavropol (1-5) crushing them 82-61 in the Russian Higher League (third division) in Saturday night's game. He had a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 10 rebounds. Semenov also added 6 assists in 22 minutes. Ural Yekaterinburg (8-0) is placed first in the Higher League. So far his team won all eight games in the Regular Season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Semenov has relatively good stats this year 13.0ppg, 5.1rpg and 2.1apg in eight games he played so far.
#2. Justin Roberson (6'2''-G-1993, played in 2013-14, plays in Croatia) could not help Cibona (3-3) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his very good performance Cibona was badly defeated79-63 on the road by the higher-ranked Dubrovnik (#3). Roberson was the top scorer with 15 points. He also added 3 steals. But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's Roberson's first year with the team. Roberson has relatively good stats this season 12.0ppg, 2.6apg and 1.4spg.
#3. Sergio El Darwich (6'5''-G-1996, played in 2017-18, currently in Japan) was the major contributor in a Sendai 89ers' victory against the eighth-ranked SunRockers (5-8) 84-75 in the Japanese B1 League on Saturday night. El Darwich scored 21 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 4 assists (was perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line) in 31 minutes. Sendai 89ers (7-6) are placed sixth in East group. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. El Darwich has relatively good stats this year 12.2ppg, 5.1rpg, 5.1apg and 1.8spg in 13 games.
#4. Experienced Andris Misters (6'5''-SG-1992, played in 2013-14, plays pro in Italy) led Omegna to a victory over the ninth-ranked Desio (5-4) 86-76 in the Italian Serie B Nazionale (third division) in Saturday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Misters scored 29 points (!!!), had 5 rebounds and dished 3 assists. Paffoni Fulgor Omegna (6-2) is placed sixth in Group A. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. Misters has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 18.5ppg, 3.1rpg, 2.3apg and 1.3spg.
#5. Sindou Diallo (6'5''-G-2000, played in 2018-19, plays in Qatar) was the main contributor in an Al Arabi's victory against the league outsider Qatar Club (0-5) crushing them 121-91 in a derby game in the Qatari QBL last Saturday. Diallo was MVP of the game. He recorded 24 points in 26 minutes. Al Arabi Club Doha (4-0) is placed first in the QBL. So far his team won all four games in the Regular Season. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. It's Diallo's first season with the team. Diallo has very impressive stats this year 18.7ppg, 1.3rpg and 2.7apg in three games.
#6. Liam Campbell (5'11''-G-2005, played in 2023-24, currently in United Kingdom) contributed to an Loughborough Riders' surprising victory against the fourth-ranked Flyers 2 crushing them 106-52 in the British BCB (second division) on Saturday night. Campbell recorded 8 points and added 3 passes. This season he averages 3.6ppg.
