#1. Experienced Marcus Lewis (6'5''-G-1992, played in 2011-12, plays pro in Romania) led Dinamo Bucuresti to a victory over the 12th-ranked Sibiu (2-6) 86-74 in the Romanian Liga Nationala on Saturday night. He was MVP of the game. Lewis scored 17 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 30 minutes. Dinamo Bucuresti (4-4) is placed eighth in the Liga Nationala. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Lewis has relatively good stats this season 13.5ppg, 2.5rpg, 1.4apg and 1.8spg.
#2. Nmesomachi Nnebedum (6'3''-G, played in 2021-22, plays in Azerbaijan). Nnebedum could not help Lankaran (3-4) to beat Sumqayit (2-5) in the Azerbaijani ABL. He scored 9 points and added 4 passes. But the third-placed Lankaran (3-4) lost 94-98 at home to the lower-ranked (#6) Sumqayit in the Grupa B group. The Regular Season already ended. This year Nnebedum averages 9.2ppg, 2.0rpg and 3.7apg in six games he played so far.
#3. Charles Knowles (6'5''-G/F-1993, played in 2012-14, currently in Spain), who plays in the Spanish Segunda FEB (third division) was not able to help LBC Cocinas (1-5) in their game last Sunday. Despite Knowles' very good performance the 13th-placed LBC Cocinas (1-5) was defeated 68-58 on the road by the leading Cordoba CB in the West group. He was the top scorer with 17 points. Knowles also added 4 rebounds in 28 minutes. It was his first game for LBC Cocinas this season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
#4. Anthony Harris (6'3''-G-1997, played in 2015-17, plays pro in Brazil) contributed to a Basket Osasco's victory against the league outsider Vasco (0-8) 69-60 in the Brazilian NBB on Wednesday night. He scored 13 points, had 4 rebounds, passed 6 assists and added 3 blocks. Basket Osasco (4-11) is placed ninth in the NBB. It was his team's first victory after seven consecutive loses. It's Harris' first season with the team. Harris has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 15.5ppg, 5.0rpg and 4.0apg in eight games.
