#1. Seth LeDay (6'7''-F-1996, played in 2014-15, plays pro in Iceland) led Stjarnan to a victory against the closely-ranked Njardvik (2-4) 105-101 in the Icelandic Subway League last Thursday. He scored 18 points, had 6 boards, dished 5 assists and stole 3 balls in 31 minutes. Stjarnan (2-4) is placed ninth in the Subway League. It was his team's first victory after three consecutive loses. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's LeDay's first year with the team. LeDay has relatively good stats this season 15.0ppg, 10.3rpg and 1.5apg in four games he played so far.
#2. Nate Johnson (6'9''-C-2000, played in 2019-20, plays in Romania) could not help the league outsider Galati (0-7) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Johnson's good performance Galati was defeated 89-76 at home by the much higher-ranked Targu Mures (#7). He was the second best scorer with 12 points. Johnson also added 6 rebounds. It's Johnson's first season with the team. This year he averages 5.3ppg and 3.0rpg. Johnson is a naturalized Jamaican.
#3. Trejon Jacob (6'5''-SG-1998, played in 2016-17, currently in Austria) managed to help druck.at Traiskirchen Lions in a victory against the league outsider Furstenfeld Panthers (0-8) 92-81 in the Austrian BSL in Saturday night's game. He scored 5 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 30 minutes. druck.at Traiskirchen Lions (2-2) are placed fourth in the BSL. Jacob has relatively good stats this year 13.6ppg, 6.4rpg, 3.3apg and 1.8spg in eight games. Jacob is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.
#4. Experienced Orlan Jackman (6'7''-F-1988, played in 2008-10, plays pro in United Kingdom) contributed to a City of Birmingham Rockets' victory against the fourth-ranked Hurricanes (0-5) 86-79 in the British BCB (second division) last Saturday. Jackman scored 7 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. City of Birmingham Rockets (2-1) is placed second in Group 2. But the season just started, so everything may happen. This year Jackman averages 5.7ppg, 6.3rpg and 1.3apg.
