#1. Kassim Nicholson (6'7''-F-1999, played in 2017-19, plays pro in Germany) was the major contributor in a Rostock Seawolves' surprising victory against the third-ranked s Oliver Baskets (4-2) 75-63 in the German BBL last Sunday. He recorded 15 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 26 minutes. Rostock Seawolves (3-3) is placed 12th in the BBL. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Nicholson has relatively good stats this year 10.5ppg and 4.0rpg in two games he played so far.
#2. Daryl Macon (6'3''-G-1995, played in 2014-16, plays in Greece) led Maroussi to a victory against the league outsider Panionios (0-6) 92-80 in a derby game in the Greek GBL on Saturday night. Macon scored 17 points and added 6 passes. Maroussi B.C. (2-3) is placed ninth in the GBL. But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's Macon's first year with the team. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Macon averages 16.8ppg, 2.8rpg and 4.8apg.
#3. Asa Williams (6'6''-SF-1999, played in 2020-21, currently in Sweden) contributed to a Koping Stars' victory against the sixth-ranked Hogsbo (4-4) 109-100 in the Swedish Basketligan in Friday night's game. Williams scored 16 points and added 3 assists in 24 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. Koping Stars (2-8) is placed second from the bottom (#10) in the Basketligan. It was his team's first victory after five consecutive loses. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. Williams has relatively good stats this year 14.4ppg, 3.3rpg, 1.9apg and 1.1spg in eight games.
#4. Amadou Traore (6'7''-F-2000, played in 2019-20, plays pro in Azerbaijan). He could not help Guba (2-4) to beat Serhedci (2-4) in the Azerbaijani ABL. Traore's contribution was not very remarkable in Friday's game. He scored only one point and grabbed 4 rebounds. The third-placed Guba (2-4) was defeated 86-82 at home by the lower-ranked Serhedci (#5) in the Grupa B group. It was Guba's third consecutive loss in a row. The Regular Season already ended. It's Traore's first season with the team. This year Traore averages 7.2ppg and 7.4rpg. Traore is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.
