The game in Berkeley was also quite interesting. 5th rankedReign (2-6) played at the court of sixth ranked Royals (3-5). Royals managed to secure a 5-point victory 70-65 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of Mali forward Salimatou Kourouma (180-1999, college: Oregon) who helped to win the game recording 36 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds and Miyu Mizukawa who added 10 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists during the contest. Swingman Mo Bennett (177-1990, college: Georgia Tech) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 17 rebounds and Jamaican-American guard Crystal Primm (180-1997, college: FAU) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds. Four Reign players scored in double figures. Royals moved-up to fifth place. Reign lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with six games lost. They share it with Riptide.
