This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of one of their biggest challengersVancouver B. (5-6) to fourth ranked Capitals (5-3) 133-130 in the game for the third place. Salem C. shot the lights out from three sinking 19 long-distance shots on high 57.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Guard Carlos Angel (190-1997, college: Whitman) scored 33 points (!!!) to lead the charge for the winners and forward Cameron Benzel (201, college: WOU) chipped in 17 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. Capitals' coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was guard Mikey Medlock (193, college: Lewis & Clark) with 45 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds and guard Noah Ogoli (185, college: WOU) scored 28 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Capitals have a solid four-game winning streak. Salem C. moved-up to third place. Vancouver B. lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth position with six games lost.
