Regular Season Round 40: Great Falls E. - Wenatchee B. 124-109

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss ofBighorns (15-8) in Great Falls. Visitors were defeated by Electric (19-3) 124-109 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Bighorns. Great Falls E. made 29-of-37 charity shots (78.4 percent) during the game, while Wenatchee B. only scored seven points from the stripe. Great Falls E. forced 25 Wenatchee B. turnovers and had a 42-31 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great Falls E. players were unselfish on offense dishing 33 assists. Wenatchee B. was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of center Robert Upshaw (213-1994, college: Washington) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds (on 14-of-17 shooting from the field) and swingman Kierre Moore (192-1995, college: Richland CC) who added 24 points and 12 assists during the contest. Four Electric players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Nick Fleming (185-1997, college: Cal Poly) responded with 23 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and swingman Tavin Cummings (197-1992, college: Concordia, AL) scored 31 points. Great Falls E. maintains first position with 19-3 record, which they share with Frederick. Wenatchee B. at the other side still keeps top place with eight games lost.
