The game had a very big importance for third-rankedBobcats as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Bobcats defeated bottom-ranked Legacy in Kokomo 131-122 . Kokomo B. made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Larry Plummer (190-1996, college: Missouri Valley) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Tremont Moore (190-1998, college: Co.Georgia) contributed with 20 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Plummer is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Bobcats' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Swingman Carson Newsome (199-1998, college: Graceland, agency: Interperformances) replied with 38 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Ayomide Ajiboye (196-2000, college: Roosevelt, agency: Interperformances) added 33 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds (on 13-of-15 shooting from the field) in the effort for Lake County L.Five Kokomo B. and four Lake County L. players scored in double figures. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Lake County L. at the other side still closes the standings with 15 games lost.
