Second-rankedOutlaws (10-7) used its home court advantage to challenge first ranked Fire (17-1) in Enid on Thursday. The visitors from Shawnee managed to secure only one-point victory 116-115 . However their fans expected easier game. The winners were led by swingman Ricardo Artis II (198-1993, college: Wiley) who scored that evening 35 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and point guard Daylon Guy (183-1992, college: Tarleton St.) supported him with 27 points, 8 assists and 4 steals. Worth to mention Artis II played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped get the job in pro basketball. Even a double-double of 20 points and 15 assists by point guard Devin Harris (182-1992, college: OKWU) did not help to save the game for Enid O. . Canadian forward Kaleb Vaughn (198, college: Lake Erie) added 22 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for lost side. Four Potawatomi F. and five Enid O. players scored in double figures. Outlaws' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Fire have an impressive 12-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 17-1 record. Loser Outlaws keeps the second place with seven games lost.
