Bottom-rankedAdmirals (0-11) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 115-92 loss to sixth ranked Rebels (2-12) in Reading on Thursday evening. They also forced 19 Tri-State A. turnovers and outrebounded them 50-39 including 17 on the offensive glass. Reading looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Power forward Willie Williams III (200-1988, college: Bridgeport) stepped up and scored 14 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners and guard Tyree Pickron (190, college: BMCU) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds. Four Rebels players scored in double figures. Rebels' coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side guard Marques Watson (196-1998, college: Manhattan, agency: Elite Sports Empowerment) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 9 rebounds, 13 assists and 5 steals and forward Fenley Jean-Baptiste (203, college: Niagara County) scored 19 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Reading moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Jersey SB. Loser Admirals still closes the standings with 11 games lost. They share the position with San Antonio C. and Lake County L..
