Not a big story in a game in St. Louis where bottom-rankedLegacy (0-4) was outplayed by fourth ranked Griffins (2-1) 136-115 on Saturday. St.Louis G. made 17-of-17 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. They also forced 21 Lake County L. turnovers and outrebounded them 49-29 including a 22-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. St.Louis G. looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Cameron Williams (203-1999, college: Moberly Area) who helped to win the game recording 40 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and forward Tyree White (203-1997, college: ULM) who added 20 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Griffins' coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Swingman Carson Newsome (199-1998, college: Graceland) responded with 42 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and swingman Charles Campbell Jr (190-2000, college: St.Xavier) scored 21 points and 7 assists. Five St.Louis G. and four Lake County L. players scored in double figures. St.Louis G. moved-up to second place, which they share with Logansport. Loser Legacy still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with 4 other teams.
