There was a minor upset in Fredericton where one of their biggest challengersFog (3-3) was defeated by sixth ranked Freeze (3-2) 76-61 on Thursday. Fredericton forced 20 Port City Fog turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Ann Bastien (173) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 4 steals and swingman Allie McCarthy (183, college: N.Dakota) who added 12 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side forward Clancy Macintyre (188) responded with 11 points and 7 rebounds and guard Neve Pearson scored 12 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Fredericton moved-up to fifth place. Loser Fog dropped to the sixth position with three games lost.
